Sodium Meta Silicate is a highly corrosive compound which can be used in the hydrothermal preparation of thorium uranium silicate and polythiophene/sodium metasilicate. It is highly irritating to skin and may show serious damages to the eyes and respiratory tract on exposure and inhalation by reacting with mucous membranes.
